New Car Service in Epping

Engines that operate through internal combustion rely on large amounts of clean air to ensure the fuel burns properly and generates the power needed to drive the vehicle. At Royal Automotive in Epping, we understand how vital it is to keep your car's air filter in good condition as part of protecting your engine's health. Your engine requires extremely clean air to function efficiently. Dirt, dust, and other particles entering the engine can cause serious damage. That’s where the air filter comes into play. It ensures the air entering the combustion chambers is clean, shielding key engine components such as the pistons and cylinders from wear and damage. Why Replace Your Air Filter? Save on Fuel Costs: Your engine requires the correct balance of fuel and air to run efficiently. A clogged air filter restricts airflow, causing your engine to run inefficiently – often referred to as ‘running rich.’ This not only puts additional stress on your engine but can also increase fuel consumption by up to 10%. No one likes spending more on petrol than necessary! Protect Your Engine: Over time, air filters become clogged and weaker, increasing the risk of damage. A damaged or overly dirty air filter can allow harmful particles to enter the engine, potentially leading to expensive repairs. Benefits of Replacing Your Air Filter: Extends the life of your engine Improves fuel efficiency Reduces vehicle emissions At Royal Automotive, we always check the condition of your air filter during every full car service. Whether it’s a major or minor service, or one that follows your manufacturer’s handbook or logbook guidelines, you can trust us to keep your engine running smoothly.

Keep your engine healthy with clean air filters. Improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions, and extend engine life. Visit Royal Automotive for expert maintenance and reliable car servicing.

It can be tempting to put off your next car service, especially if your vehicle still feels like it's running well. However, delaying routine maintenance can end up costing far more than the price of a scheduled service. At Royal Automotive, we regularly help drivers avoid expensive repairs by identifying small issues before they turn into major mechanical problems. As a Repco Authorised Service centre, we provide expert servicing for all makes and models, with particular expertise in Japanese vehicles, including Subaru and Mazda, as well as European vehicles. A Routine Service Can Save You Thousands Your vehicle is made up of hundreds of moving parts that naturally wear over time. During a regular service, our qualified technicians inspect and maintain critical components to keep everything operating safely and efficiently. Routine servicing helps identify problems before they become expensive repairs, including: Worn brake pads before they damage brake discs Cooling system leaks before they cause overheating Cracked belts before they snap Suspension wear before it affects handling and tyre wear Fluid leaks before they damage major components Battery issues before they leave you stranded Fixing these issues early is significantly cheaper than repairing the damage caused by neglect. Dirty Engine Oil Is One of the Biggest Engine Killers Engine oil lubricates your engine, reduces friction and removes heat. As it ages, it becomes contaminated with carbon deposits, dirt and microscopic metal particles. Old engine oil can lead to: Increased engine wear Sludge build-up Poor performance Reduced fuel economy Costly engine repairs Regular oil and filter changes are one of the simplest ways to extend the life of your engine. Delaying Servicing Can Increase Fuel Costs A vehicle that isn't serviced regularly often works harder than it needs to. Dirty air filters, worn spark plugs, degraded engine oil and incorrect tyre pressures all reduce fuel efficiency. Over the course of a year, this extra fuel consumption can cost far more than the price of keeping your vehicle properly maintained. Routine servicing helps your engine perform efficiently, saving money every time you fill the tank. Small Problems Quickly Become Big Repairs Many drivers ignore early warning signs because the vehicle still drives normally. Common warning signs include: Dashboard warning lights Strange noises Vibrations Fluid leaks Difficulty starting Poor braking performance Rough idling These symptoms rarely disappear on their own. For example: A minor coolant leak can result in severe engine overheating. Worn brake pads can damage rotors, dramatically increasing repair costs. A failing battery can leave you stranded at the worst possible time. Suspension wear can lead to uneven tyre wear and expensive tyre replacement. The earlier these issues are diagnosed, the less they usually cost to repair. Protect Your Manufacturer's Warranty Many new car owners believe they must return to the dealership for servicing. That's simply not true. Royal Automotive carries out manufacturer-approved log book servicing that helps maintain your new car warranty while following the manufacturer's servicing requirements. Our technicians receive ongoing training through the Repco Auto-Tech program and use quality parts, approved lubricants and modern diagnostic equipment to ensure every service meets the highest standards. Regular Servicing Helps Your Car Hold Its Value A complete service history gives future buyers confidence that a vehicle has been properly maintained. Regular servicing can help: Increase resale value Improve reliability Extend vehicle life Reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns Keep maintenance costs lower over the long term Looking after your vehicle today can pay off when it's time to sell or trade it in. Avoid Unexpected Breakdowns Nobody wants to be stuck on the side of the road. Routine servicing greatly reduces the risk of unexpected failures by checking essential systems before worn parts fail. At Royal Automotive, we inspect your vehicle's: Brakes Steering Suspension Battery Cooling system Belts and hoses Tyres Engine fluids Filters Our goal is to keep your vehicle safe, reliable and ready for every journey. Can Royal Automotive service my new car without affecting the manufacturer's warranty? Absolutely. Royal Automotive performs manufacturer-approved log book servicing on new vehicles while maintaining your manufacturer's warranty. Our qualified technicians follow the exact service schedule specified by your vehicle's manufacturer, use quality parts and lubricants, and complete every service to the required standards. Do I have to return to the dealership for log book servicing? No. Australian Consumer Law allows you to choose a qualified independent workshop like Royal Automotive for your scheduled servicing. As a Repco Authorised Service centre, we carry out log book servicing that meets manufacturer requirements, so you don't have to pay dealership prices to maintain your warranty. What is included in a log book service? Every log book service is tailored to your vehicle's manufacturer specifications and service interval. Depending on your vehicle, your service may include: Engine oil and oil filter replacement Comprehensive vehicle safety inspection Brake inspection Steering and suspension checks Battery testing Cooling system inspection Drive belt and hose inspection Tyre pressure and condition check Fluid level inspection and replacement where required Computer diagnostic scan where applicable Resetting service reminders Updating and stamping your log book How often should I book my log book service? Most manufacturers recommend servicing every 10,000 to 15,000 kilometres or every 6 to 12 months, whichever comes first. Following your manufacturer's schedule helps maintain reliability, safety and warranty coverage. What happens if I delay my scheduled service? Skipping or delaying scheduled servicing can become far more expensive than the service itself. It may lead to: Increased engine wear Reduced fuel economy Premature component failure Unexpected breakdowns Costly repairs Reduced resale value Keeping up with your scheduled servicing is one of the best ways to protect your investment and avoid unnecessary repair bills. Will my log book be stamped? Yes. Once your service has been completed, we'll update and stamp your log book, providing a complete service history that helps maintain your vehicle's value and demonstrates it has been professionally maintained. Can you service European, Japanese and other vehicle brands? Yes. Royal Automotive services most makes and models, including Japanese, European, Korean, Australian and American vehicles. We also have extensive experience servicing Subaru, Mazda and European vehicles using modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information. How long does a log book service take? Most scheduled services can be completed within a few hours, although larger manufacturer's services may take longer depending on what's required. When you make your booking, we'll provide an estimated completion time. Will you contact me before carrying out additional repairs? Always. If we discover anything that requires attention during your service, we'll explain the issue, provide a clear quote and wait for your approval before completing any extra work. Does regular servicing improve fuel economy? Yes. Fresh engine oil, clean filters, correctly inflated tyres and a well-maintained engine all help your vehicle operate more efficiently. Regular servicing can improve fuel economy while reducing wear on expensive engine components. Can I book my log book service online? Yes. Booking your next log book service is easy. Simply contact Royal Automotive or book online at a time that suits you. Regular servicing keeps your vehicle safe, reliable and performing as the manufacturer intended.
